B.Ed. (Annual) Examination

DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNER AND TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS

Paper-II
Time: Three Hours                                                                                Maximum Marks: 80
The candidates shall limit their answers precisely within the answer-book (40 pages) issued to them and no supplementary/continuation sheet will be issued.
Note: Attempt five questions in all. Q. No. 1 is compulsory. Select one question form each    section. All Questions carry equal marks.

1.    Write short notes on any four of the following, each in about 150 words. Each note will be of 4 marks.
a)    Functions of Educational Psychology.

c)    Factors influencing learners.
d)    Types of Intelligence Tests.
e)    Characteristics of Mentally Retarded Children.
f)     Use of Central Tendencies.

2.    What emotional problems do adolescents face in schools? Suggest programmers for harmonious development of adolescents with emotional and social problems.                      

OR

Discuss the natural of Educational Psychology. Justify the scientific nature of educational Psychology.

3.    Differentiate between Information and Knowledge. How does the mind process the information ? Discuss information processing with example form any school subject.  

OR

Discuss with example the importance of Maslow’s Humanistic theory for teachers of secondary schools.

4.    Define Intelligence. Give a brief history of the development of Intelligence Tests. 

OR

Describe various types of Intelligence Tests. Give the characteristics of Performance tests and the areas where they can be effectively used.

5.    Describe the areas of difference found in children of the same class. As a teacher how will you handle this difference? Explain.    

OR

Define personality. Describe any one method used for the assessment of personality.
